Sergey Babakhin

Olga Babakina

Team Coach

Coach Sergey was born in Surgut, USSR, where he trained as a gymnast. He attended Florida State University and swam on the swim team until 2011. Sergey began working with his parent's gym in 2005, and began coaching the competitive team in 2011. With experience coaching all levels of USAG gymnastics, Sergey has assisted coaching many of our gymnasts to state, regional, and national titles. Since taking over ownership in 2022, his focus has been building up all of IGG's programs to be the best in the area!

Coach Olga was born in Yshkar-Ola, USSR, where she began gymnastics at the age of 8 and competed until she was 21. She graduated from Leningrad Institute of Physical Culture in 1979 where she earned one of the highest honors in Soviet/Russian sport, the title of Master of Sport of USSR. Coach Olga began her coaching career in 1997 in Khanty Mansiysk. Since opening IGG with her husband and former coach, Sasha Babakhin, she has coached our athletes to numerous state, regional, and national titles!

Boris Tuniyev

Team Coach

Coach Boris was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, where he studied gymnastics at Dinamo Sports Society where he earned the candidate of Master of Sport (Level 10). He earned a Bachelor of Sport Gymnastics Degree at the Azerbaijan State Institution of Physical Education and Sport. Coach Boris began coaching in 1972, and coached for 20 years in the Soviet Union; 10 of which were at the Child and Youth Sports School for the Olympic Reserve. In 1992, he came to the United States and has been coaching locally since 1994. Coach Boris coaches our competitive team, and has led many of our athletes to success in the sport!
